I looked at that but the MagSafe doesn't hold the phone securely enough once you start hitting some bumps. Even on the road a higher truck has more sway than a car when hitting bumps (haven't driven CT yet but in every truck I've had it's been the case). The first bump and your phone will be sliding by your feet. I thought maybe the stick on mount with the ball would work so I reached out to tsportline to ask if the ball was 20 mm and thus compatible with the offroam mount but they didn't know what the ball size was.

Consider me a +1 for dog-related accessories. Something that loops over the front and rear headrests and creates a “U-shaped” protective cover (U-shaped when viewed from the door point of entry) would be great. Or any protective heavy-duty canvas-type (?) material that has the same outcome regardless of method.

Also, I was thinking of something more heavy-duty for a rear-screen protector than just film such as a snap-on plastic cover that really protects it from doggie claws. This might not be needed as much with a seat cover but to be honest, I would buy it anyway, snap it on, and never think twice.

My two GSDs are 100lb black male and 75lb red/brown/black female and their size/weight/claws can easily damage stuff. I’ve resigned myself to only having 1-2 weeks of a nice rear interior, but the protection for the screen and seats would be a no-brainer for me to do what I can anyway to extend their life a bit. Cheers!

I second the need for a dog cover that can drape over the entire back seat and then up the backs of the front seats. I have 140 pound Newfoundland and I have a dog cover for the entire back cargo area of my jeep wrangler which is perfect.

Yes, exactly! Beautiful puppers!

I think with such a large back seat area it can be just (tough) "u-shaped" fabric that lies almost like an insert, but protects areas like the seats, doors, and possibly the rear entertainment screen...while allowing ventilation to pass through.

At least this is how I have conceptualized it. I have even thought of the possibility for inflatable frame tubes behind the right side of the front seats, allowing for a possible screen to front seat area (if that makes sense).

Hello!

I am Iliya, the owner of TWRAPS. We design & manufacture accessories for EVs, locally in our factory in Concord, CA.

While I am still waiting to get a VIN for my Cybertruck (01/09 order - AWD), I was able to get my hands onto one for a day and a half and we've managed to complete 11 accessories for it. More to come when my CT comes :)

Here is the list:

If you have any questions, please let me know, I am always happy to answer them and help in any way I can.

Last but not least, you can use code GASGONE for 10% off ??
You should make a cover (not a screen protector) for that rear display. Maybe something that snaps over it, or something that can retract, for those of us that will not use it very often but want to protect it just the same.

I was thinking of that but then I figured if I had a dog, I'd just push the seats up for extra space...wouldn't that make more sense, or I am missing something?
My first thought, but not sure how spoiled dog will like that. ? ?

Yup, will do that once I get my CT. I was only able to design and test the low profile one but once I get my CT I will design & make a high profile one with lids...just takes time. It was a miracle even the low profile one happened as fast as it did haha :)
@TWRAPS You got your work cut out for you, but- I would buy from you simply for the fact you seem to care about people's feedback, that's super important to me. Thanks for taking all our suggestions, and showing us all the amazing stuff you've done thus far.

I think a lot of people will raise the seat to give their dogs more space, but- I just don't think that will keep the seats, doors (not sure what interior door material is), and the screen protected/clean. I have a hell of a time finding a quality seat protector for my Saint (understanding he is somewhat of an exception wrt his size and drooling). I just want something that keeps fur and drool from getting in weird hard to reach places, and somewhat contain it all.

Of course, this all goes to hell once a window is open

That solves one problem, but I measured at the local Tesla showroom and a large dog crate will not fit on the floor even with the seats folded up because of the rear display console. A small dog bed would fit, but if one really wants the dog secure and comfortable some kind of platform would have to be made, or a hammock, or something else. Someone will make dog accessories for the Cybertruck. It doesn't have to be you. But if they are well designed and made they will sell.

I have a 204 lbs Saint Bernard, you underestimate how the drool and fur travel lmao
IMG_8075.jpeg

Exhibit A (yes, that would be drool on the seat... and the roof glass)
My dog is a walk in the park compared to yours.

100% this... I don't wanna put so much pressure on TWRAPS, bc I know others will make them, but it's sure nice to give someone feedback before they design one.

haha yea, Ben is my second Saint, also the largest fur friend I have ever had. The CT, OF COURSE, I WANT, but- I feel like it will suit him very well. Your dog is gorgeous.

@ben_the_saintly_bernard on IG, if you're ever around the dog parks :)

I should eventually create a Cyberdog thread for meetups with our pups.

Could you make the floor console like a trash can with a lid? I just want to throw things in it and not fall into places like under my brake pedal. Having a bucket or walls on the side will prevent things from rolling out.

Screenshot_20240220_161632_Samsung capture.jpg
THIS!!! I would love to get a trash can for my CT that stays in place. This will help encourage my family to stop leaving trash in my truck. :)
