So much for faster....

They should pay the workers in GA in brisket, that will speed things up. ?

Very slow ramp at this one. Let's hope they can start pouring out of the factory.

Yeap, seems like it’s significantly slower than Berlin. Hopefully picking up momentum now.

Looks like they are levelling out fast around the current car parks. The 4th press should make it half a million per year... maybe it will ramp quick from here.

More like slow them down.. as the meat coma sets in. ;)
Well with Berlin it worked with Sauerkraut so I'm thinking you know, use local incentives. :p

(I can say that about Germans without offending myself..lol)

But seriously, I wonder how much of a roll weather and cuisine play in social and work expectations? Germany, normally being a cooler climate (not this year tho) typically have pretty driven workers because of the weather and lifestyle, so they can afford long summer holidays away. But if you live in good climate, it's been my experience that the lifestyle takes more of a front seat and work becomes secondary. Dunno if Austin is far enough south to be a holiday destination, but apparently the brisket is good, which I generally enjoy. ?

Germans got the blitzkrieg going, so we know they are good at scaling quickly.

Apparently, the story around that is that two German tank commanders saw the French flee when they saw the tanks, (they were pulling canons with horses in comparison) and they just kept on going through the lines and towns, even though the German Generals ordered the tank commanders to stop and wait for infrantry. They were later court marshalled. The German Generals were old school infantry men, but after they saw the progress made, later adopted the technique.

Autobahns and Beetles mate. Build fast to go fast.

It's surprising how far Cleese could get his leg up so high, nearly looks like a Roman salute, just with his leg! :ROFLMAO:

Apparently, the story around that is that two Tesla Auto Managers saw the legacy Auto companies flee when they saw the Model X, (they were pulling shit uphill in comparison) and they just kept on going through the lines and towns, even though the Elon ordered his managers to stop and wait for the Model S. They were later replaced. The new Tesla Managers, who were green and full of enthusiasm, later adopted and vastly improved the technique.

Model 3 and Model Y mate. Build fast to go fast.

For the future history books lol

Talk about "his-story". ?

I wonder how much of the ramp rate is dependent on dialing in the assembly line and machinery to get every non-productive second of time out and how much its part supply related.

Do they have the parts for more than 1000 a week at all? That's still a few 4680s.

Amazing how much Tesla is underestimated, and more amazing even our most trusted YouTubers aren't all they want you to think, IMO.

Even Sandy Monroe... who loves the Rivian for what it is, and keeps reiterating to all and Sundry how successful Ford will be.

In a recent Video, Sandy Compared the cost of producing a Tesla to the Mach-E

'Its close, not much separating them ! '

'Ooohh I may have been wrong with the cost of the battery though !'

What about production time of 10 hrs Vrs 30 hrs Sandy ?

How generous Munro is with auto companies varies greatly with the amount of access they give him. Ford has been very generous with Munro lately, giving him some pretty exclusive access.

Not that this is a true barometer of how fast the ramp is going, but we are taking delivery of a Model Y on the East Coast sometime around the end of the year and the app estimate has been progressively moving the estimated delivery date forward. If a 2023 Model Y is eligible for the tax credit, we might be waiting until the new year to take delivery regardless ;)
