My ex was was close with the family of former CFO at Nikola when they did their big cap raise around that time. We were at their house for a holiday party and Milton was there. Having been a pre ipo investor in Tesla and Space X at that point I was curious. He couldn’t answer even the most basic questions about his tech and couldn’t get away from the conversation fast enough. Told the CFO he needed to bail from that ship as fast as he could. Ended up in a years long legal battle after Milton fired him for sexual misconduct allegations immediately after securing $200mm in financing. You can google all that shit it’s public record.
