Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told the Financial Times that competing with Elon Musk is no easy task but he would "love" to get Tesla's Robotaxi on the Uber platform.

He goes on to say "We'll see what Tesla does and either we'll compete with them or work with them or a competition thereof."

He has to be concerned. Uber doesn't have their own robotaxi platform and will have to continue rely ingon other companies like Waymo and Tesla for their autonomous solution. If he can't strike a deal with Tesla, he better hope that Waymo ends up as good as Tesla Robotaxi.

Interesting you say this. Uber is feverishly expanding its reach and strategic alliances, and already works together with companies like Waymo and Wayve. What Tesla concerned, someone explicitly mentions working together with Uber as a way to boost revenue.

Tesla Robotaxi: Potentially $1.3 Trillion Of Incremental Enterprise Value In 2030
https://seekingalpha.com/article/47...llion-of-incremental-enterprise-value-in-2030
  • A robotaxi needs to earn $0.48/mile to hit a $10,000 annual profit, which is competitive compared to current ride-hailing rates in cities like San Francisco.
  • Tesla could partner with Uber or Lyft, netting $0.75/mile after a 25% commission, resulting in a $14,125 annual profit per vehicle.
  • The robotaxi business line could potentially add $1.3 trillion of enterprise value to Tesla by 2030.
  • The incoming Donald Trump administration, characterized by a pro-business stance and reduced regulatory oversight, combined with Tesla’s recent success with FSD 13, could significantly accelerate the timeline for robotaxis.
