Musk replied to this thread about SpaceX and Tesla merging back in September… then out of the blue posted the exact same reply to the original post Today.

It didn’t make sense for them to merge 8 years ago… but a lot has changed.

1. 11/29/21 is 12/9/21 backwards…
2. If they do merge SpaceX and Tesla… they can switch the Cybertruck to being a SpaceX branded product and use the sales from that the fund the Starship.

and then we get our spacex cyberquad and cyber truck on the moon And they can buy the spacex/CT steel in huge bulk orders from 1 company under 1 contract for dirt cheap.
