Previously I did float the idea of having a group of us fund a CT teardown. There are a number of practical problems to the idea that could partially be overcome if Munro handled the report access and payment details. But that would entail another business model change to how Sandy is running...
Potentially there is a huge difference. From what I understand, before the YT channel companies would bring him a vehicle they wanted to investigate, fund the teardown and buy the report. Notice that in this case, the contract would include $$ (at least a portion of it) up front. This would...
OMG
So smarty pants designs some tech to “think” like a brain does and he is frustrated that it has the same problems as brains do? Has he met humans? In my experience, human brains have even more ‘hallucination problems’ than current AI.
At this point I'd agree with you. Personally, I'm not interested in any EV that is not Tesla because of the charging network, FSD, etc. But yes, if I wanted a truck today, Ford would be the choice. Possibly a peek at Rivian but so far I'm not convinced they would be a good choice for me.
Actually not. We are waiting on a vehicle yes. But we’ve seen real examples of the vehicle. We’ve seen the production line get built out. We’ve seen test artifacts as a result of running various parts of that production line. The CT is very very real with a very real production line. Do we have...
So ummmmm…..
It’s a concept car an there is no price mentioned. LOL
Let me know when they actually get serious with a real car to compare with a real price. Till then, it’s just laughable vapor water.

T esla is facing a challenge from Mercedes-Benz, which introduced a new electric-sedan concept vehicle at a German motor...
Once FSD gets fully developed, the idea will be to sell the current vehicle you have with FSD and then roll that cash over into the new vehicle you want with FSD. Kind of like a transfer but the FSD will be the one applicable to the vehicle you are buying.
This will also end up bifurcating the...
Interesting that the range anxiety issue is being talked about but to do the story, they used a Chevy Bolt but then tell us:
Seems like that might just have an impact on your experience...
Also note that the only mention of Tesla in the article is:
This sounds negative like the Tesla...

The Pacific Northwest is in the early stages of making a very big switch: from gasoline to electricity.
Electric...
LOL. Sure it does... For now.
Just wait. That driver seat will get removed ASAP after FSD gets approved. And it looks like an additional 3 passenger seats or maybe more will replace the single driver seat.
Curious. In a sense we already have shotgun mode but in reverse with FSD Beta. FSD drives till the human decides things are getting too scary and takes over till the scary part is done. In essence it is also being used to teach FfSD to drive.
When you first said shotgun mode though my brain...
Tesla Time News today had a Community Mail Time segment that included the following picture. It was a contribution from someone in the community in Florida. The commentary was about the 4 EVs parked outside an AT&T store. But what caught my eye was the Tesla Nail Salon.
Um... What other hustle...
So Zach and Jesse have a Disruptive Investing video about the steer-by-wire patent that Tesla has.
Some of the points they make have to do with FSD and ways that FSD could interact with steer-by-wire. Which got me thinking about some other scenarios that an FSD vehicle with all drive-by-wire...
Um.... Wrong technology.
I was responding to:
The NACS EV connector is just the plug and associated communication related to how the electricity transfer gets loaded into the vehicle. What @SolarWizard was talking about was the actual DC fast charger that the NACS connector is wired to.
