The inductive wireless charging system for the Cybercab Robotaxi wasn't shown during the reveal event livestream. Here's a look at the wireless charging system, charging mat and UI / charging screen.

This is what Elon Musk said about wireless charging during the presentation:

"Something we're also doing is, and it's really high time we did this, is inductive charging.".... "So, The Robotaxi has no plug. It just goes over the inductive charger and charges. So, yeah, that's kind of how it should be."

The wireless charging pad mat looks just like patent filed by Tesla last month (September).

Was wondering why they didn't show this on the livecast and only those interior cleaning robots! Nice to see it in action and that's a nice looking wireless charging mat. Very "Cyber" in design. Perfect for the Cybertruck too.

So the wireless charging pad mat will have to be installed against a back wall on a garage (and vehicle backed up over the mat) in order to avoid the vehicle running over the electrical wiring connecting the charging mat to the charger base?

One of the explanations for the 11.2kW limit was that more than 48A requiring a 60A circuit was problematic for residential and destination chargers. 25kW would require more than a 150A circuit, far from what is a typical and easy installation.
