ProtectaClear® by Everbrite Coatings has been used for decades to protect stainless steel on various surfaces worldwide. From automobiles, trailers, buildings, architectural accents all the way down to jewelry, it is one of the most durable clear coatings on the market, able to withstand even the harshest of elements.

For the Cybertruck it is the only coating that will not change the original finish coloring while protecting it from fingerprints, tarnish, road salts and other corrosion. Check out our website for more information on how ProtectaClear can protect your Cybertruck's factory finish. Restore & Protect Your Tesla Cybertruck from Corrosion (everbritecoatings.com)

What’s the amount required for a Cybertruck?
I’m OCD and hate fingerprints.
was quoted 5-6k for clear PPF.
If this works and protects the finish, that’s pretty cool.

This looks very promising! Can’t tell from website how much is needed for Cybertruck. Are there any testimonials from people who have applied to Cybertruck?

Unfortunately, there aren't many Cybertrucks out yet and I don't personally know of anyone who has received theirs yet. I am over number 1 million on my reservation, so it's going to be a while. If anyone is close to Sacramento, CA, I am happy to apply some as a test for all to track the results on.

A truck will take about two quarts of coating, so only $200 and the finish will last for years before needing a touch up.

Best I can tell from the website, a quart does one coat of 250 s.f., which is 5 ft x 50 ft. That cost $89. Also sell a gallon for $299.

One or two quarts I guess. Says additional coats can be applied over top, several years later. You spray or wipe on.

Two quarts of ProtectaClear is enough for the truck and it has an indefinite shelf life, so you can use it for touch ups in the years to come. $89 for a quart, or you can try a smaller size as a sample to see if you like it. If you don't like it, you can always remove it with Xylene, with no harm to the stainless.

It says it won’t change the color. But does it change the sheen? It would be great if you couldn’t tell it was on. But if it makes it more shiny, I am not sure if I would like that.

It is so clear you cannot tell it is there. It lets the metal shine through. See this picture, left is no coating, right is coated with ProtectaClear.

how are you sure it’ll work like you want on a CyberTruck? I mean if it works like advertised, you’re gonna sell stacks of these. I would rather have my CT closer to stock then to add a wrap to it. Hopefully you or someone willing to test it will put some videos out. And hopefully they’re added to this thread.

From everything we have read/watched the Cybertruck finish is simply bare stainless steel. This would be no different than bare stainless on any other surface we have had success on for the last 30 years. I can't wait to test it! If you know of anyone in Northern California, I will do a test for free and post it here for sure. I will try to reach out to the people who have listed their deliveries around us as well and see if we can test it soon.

Intriguing. If works as advertised and blocks finger prints, for those of us not looking to wrap it will be a massive benefit. Look forward to some validation test results / videos.

I am in Sacramento, and should be receiving my CT soon. I “may” be interested in letting you test the tailgate or something like that.

This is awesome! I’m looking forward to it as well. I have seen several members in this forum taking deliveries in CA. I hope we can see a video showing the results soon.

Is this safe in terms of chemicals and stuff? I workout in the garage, and I don’t want to be breathing something that’s chemically strong or harmful.
