Not sure if they’ll offer a home charger for CC yet. Might have to have it go to a supercharger location to charge wirelessly unless they include a charge port somewhere.

An induction charging mat plugged into a 110 outlet would be pretty unusable. Plugging in directly to those outlets already takes 24+ hours to charge a car 0-80% so induction would be even worse.

The tent might be used for performing some thermal, hot or cold, supercharging testing?
However I don't see any electrical power wires, beside obviously the Supercharger cord.

Or could this be a prototype of a CyberCab robot cleaning instalation?

It's probably to keep the workers out of the weather more than hiding it.

If you're sitting there poking things for hours or days you kinda want a roof.
