  1. How to interpret this "cold call" email from Tesla?

I tried a suppository once. For all the good it did I might as well have stuck it up my ass
  2. How to interpret this "cold call" email from Tesla?

My first EV. They intend to deliver their first few lAutoCycles this year (2022). If the CT is the truck of the future the Aptera is the commuter vehicle and the RV dingy of the future.
  3. How to interpret this "cold call" email from Tesla?

I think it is the latter. There are a lot of people who don't have the cash for a new Tesla but want one really bad.
  4. [Video] Finnish Man Passes on Paying $22,600 to Replace His Tesla's Battery, Blows Up Car Instead

It all boils down to a single misspelled word. It should have read Foolish man instead of Finnish man.
  5. Stolen Tesla Model S Leads Police On Wild Pursuit

I have often wondered why ATMs are not built with a similar capability. Picture this, a crook backs up to an ATM and hooks a chain onto it and pulls it off its mounting and loads it into his truck. As soon as the ATM starts to move it calls 911 and reports something like "this is the ATM at...
  6. Auto suppliers group urges slow transition to electric vehicles

The management of any company that makes things like oil filters, sparkplugs, piston rings and the like who are not looking at other products they can make deserve to lose their jobs. The workers, not so much.
  7. Aptera - the solar car - opens reservations

I'd like to see them on the road and then I'd like to see the price about $10k cheaper. Will the Aptera qualify for any tax breaks? Does Biden have any tax breaks in the works for EVs?
  8. New study expects at least 215,000 jobs to be wiped out in the German auto industry by 2030

60 or so years ago there was a magazine whose name escapes me. It had a cartoon every month titled "through history with J. Wellsley Smith". The recurring character appeared at different historical periods and always managed to put his foot in his mouth in some way. The one I remember the...
  9. Should Tesla Do Paid Advertising?

I voted for a small amt. of advertising and here is what I had in mind. Each CT buyer should be OFFERED a number of cards that have relevant CT facts on them. MPG equivalent, range, contact info/website, and any other stuff that people want to know. By the time CTs are offered to the public...
  10. What Do GM's Plans for an All-electric Future Mean to Pickup Truck Users?

I got a 50 mile mileage of 68MPG with a 2014 Cruz diesel drafting a semi one time. In my younger years I did that a lot. Smarter now. I think you are wrong about the front vehicles mileage being worse. I think it gets better. I will see if I can find it in print and if I am wrong I will get...
  11. Noise pollution drop off

Lower frequency sounds "travel" a little better than higher pitched sounds. An EV would probably make a lot less low frequency noise than an ICE would make so at a reasonable distance from a highway the difference would be significant. The change to EVs will be gradual but as it happens the...
  12. Elon Musk and Paul Elio

I am sure many of those who are interested in a CT are familiar with Paul Elio and his effort to produce a 3 wheeled 2 passenger autocycle. It would get around 84 MPG and cost under $10,00. What could a partnership between Elio and Musk produce. Using the same general design as the current...
  13. GOOD MORNING Teslanytes

The CT should make the best vehicle for evacuating from fires. There is no need for the engine to take in outside air so it will probably run until the tires catch fire. It can push stuff out of the way with less damage than other vehicles and can be packed with belongings and keep them secure.
