I went to the amazon link to learn more. The listing created more questions than it answered.
First off. Something isn't quite right with this picture. It kinda gave me a small headache.
I guess horizontal inches are much larger than vertical inches. I never noticed that before.

I can finally buy M&M's and Skittles again. My OCD always made me sort them first. Optimus will be a huge time saver!
All Joking aside, this is really cool.
With mechanical linkage the front wheels must be linked together. Getting rid of the mechanical linkage frees up the ability to have the wheels move independently. For example, it would allow the ability to do the “diamond” steering mode. Front wheels turned toward each other, rear wheels the...
WARNING: The following has nothing to do with the CT. If you're not interested in Rental cars, debit cards and credit cards please disregard.
I think they've changed recently. I got this from Hertz.com:
As far as credit cards being worth it...
I got into some trouble my last year of...
My friend, who was 23 at the time, had a credit card, a good job and decent credit. His mother had no credit card and poor credit. They couldn't put the car in her name because she didn't have a CC. They couldn't put the car in his name because he was under 25.
When I did rent the Tesla...
I already did and had a lot of fun. I went out of town to visit family, and since there aren't a lot of EV's where my family is from, most of them have never ridden in one. I gave lots of rides, which was enjoyable. My favorite part was saying, 'This rental car is the least expensive, least...
Just thought of something... When I hear people talk about supercharging, its seems they talk about the app for setting the amount of charge, and it will let you know how far along the charge is and when it's done. I'm guessing if I cannot connect via the app, I have to do all of that from the...
Oh... has anyone rented from Hertz before? I'm curious if I'll be allowed to connect it to my Tesla app, or if I'll have to use the key cards and not be able to precondition or other controls from the app.
I do not own an EV. I have some, but limited experience with them. I found Hertz would rent me a standard range Model 3 for $300 for the week and decided to rent it this week. I plan on doing my regular 280 mile trip back to my family for Easter so I'm already looking at all the Supercharger...
Most (if not all) rear wheel drive cars (or front wheel drive cars, let’s say two wheel drive cars) supply power to both wheels. Just not always at the same time. If “one wheel drive” was a viable option I’m sure at least the super cheap cars would replace the differential with a simple right...
Every earnings call or other official announcement I've watched has cause stock price to go down. So this time I'm ready to buy a few shares AFTER the announcement. Based on past experience, this means it will probably skyrocket. I have this uncanny ability to buy high, sell low.
:)
Most people with EV's plug their cars in every night, so each day they start with a 80-100% SOC. Assuming an EV with 300 miles range at 80% charge is 240 miles, do you you expect to put on more than 240 miles in a day running errands? I'm seriously asking, I don't know. I asked a realtor...
I think another thing to consider is Tesla doesn't post an MSRP (Manufactures SUGGESTED Retail Price). They set THE PRICE!!!. Because of that "the price" needs to fluctuate as the market changes. With the other OEM's they post the MSRP, but the actual price (THE PRICE) varies wildly. They...
