ProtectaClear is a blend of polymer resins in a solvent base with anti-oxidants...

How often do I need to reapply ProtectaClear?
Usually every year or two, depending on the abuse you put your Cybertruck through. There is no need to strip the coating to reapply, ProtectaClear® will...

We have had several people buy it to try, here is the link if you want to try it. Or I see you are in Redding, if you want to bring it down to Sacramento, we can do a test for you.
We believe we have found the perfect preparation solution and have been testing it. We are doing a test on a CT later this week as well. Will post a video early next week.
You are correct, in that when you coat it, it seals in the look you have, so you must ensure that it looks exactly how you want it before coating. Barkeepers Friend is an acid based cleaner and it leaves a film, so before coating with ProtectaClear you must neutralize the acid. The kits will...
ProtectaClear will not damage other hard surfaces such as glass, hard plastics, paint, etc. Any soft rubber, soft plastics will need to be protected from the coating while wet (during application). Once ProtectaClear has dried it will have no effect on these surfaces. To remove from hard...
The removal of ProtectaClear is simple and will not change the original finish at all. It can be stripped with Xylene or Xylene substitute (for those of us in California). We will be doing application videos this or next week and will include removal of the coating as well. I will be sure to...
Unfortuantely the weather here is not great this week. I have an appointment with someone locally for 2/12 to apply and get a good video. Will post it in a separate thread on this forum as soon as we have it.
Such an amazing statue! I am assuming if you turn the crank it moves?! I love the finish too.
As for how ProtectaClear compares to Renaissance Wax, they are very different products. The most notable difference in protection though is the longevity. We have many artists and sculptors who have...
It will be fully cured in 4-5 days. So ideally you can garage it for that time, but if not and you get some debris that damage it, it is self-annealing, so always fixable.
After doing the calculations you should only need two quarts of coating, so about $200 in product. I can guaranty you this is different than what you have used in the past. It will last for years. Plus seeing that wraps are $8K-$10K, this is a steal!
We have had some volunteers so we should...
You will want to use ProtectaClear for the stainless steel. We are putting together a kit that will be available this week. I will post here when it is available.
I would suggest two quarts. If shipping to California, a gallon or more must be a different formulation. If you stick to quarts, this is not an issue. We are putting together a Cybertruck kit currently and it will be available in the coming days.
That two week suggestion is more for sinks or fountains where water pools. The rain will not be a problem.
as for reapplying, the first coat needs to be dry to the touch before any further coats are applied. Although with one good coat, the Cybertruck will be protected.
I am very familiar with Quick Quack (the principal owner is actually one of Everbrite’s best customers for his self storage business), and I know that QQ changes their hardware and technology frequently. I can say it should hold up to the car wash, but I couldn’t guaranty it, however it will...
ProtectaClear will gas off at 550°. Many customers use it on their vehicle wheels, engine blocks for show cars, stainless steel BBQ exteriors, etc. without issues.
