You're right, but I'm also hoping they'll design these as rock sliders/steps. So intentionally being lower is an assumption I'm making that's just wishful thinking. I can dream!
Good points! Alternatively, devil's advocate, I'd buy these exactly because they're shallow. The dangerous edginess makes me like them more, they fit the CT sharp style better than round tubes.
Certainly may not be for everyone though! For my grandma, I'd just hit entry mode. While on the trail...
Missed this thread somehow! Glad I found it. I would probably go for stainless because (1) I know I will scrape them often and (2) I know I'll be getting them wet often.
Would it be prohibitively expensive for you to offer both? I can see both options being popular.
Thanks!! Objectively, this would significantly widen the target customer base / market you could reach without any draw backs beyond a little more design time. I don't imagine this change would require much more material (?), just how it's shaped and designed really.
Great work, guys!
Feedback:
These seem to be a great fit to also function as rock sliders! They're already low enough profile--as opposed to shelf style steps that stick out further. I can't tell in the pictures, but all you'd need is a closed-off underbody mount (instead of tabs that extend to mount points) that...
I personally I have no need for a refrigerator that small. I have an ecoflow one already that stores a lot more than one that'd fit there could do. Also, (personal preference) I don't like putting my fridge in the cabin if I can help it as it does exchange heat into cab, not much, but if I have...
Nice cage! Would like to add it to the off-road mega thread, could you answer a few things for me?
How much does it weigh?
It is available for purchase now?
What is the load weight limit?
Can it mount a front light bar?
Are you a retailer or a manufacturer of this product?
Does it qualify for...
I think someone else mentioned it, but something that is much taller and is level with the center console would be nice. There's SO MUCH empty space between the top of the center console and the floor that could be used by a well-thought out accessory/insert, why just settle for the floor?
Front/Rear bumper coming soon is exciting! Could you provide any additional details at this point?
Winch support?
Steel or Alluminum?
Light mount options?
Towing plan: wrap-around or replace?
Thx!! <3 Adding you to the many that have announced bumpers to the off-road mega thread. None have...
The off-road market is very under supplied and in high demand:
Aluminum off-road bumpers, front and back, that include:
winch support
Variety of light mounting options
Tire carrier options, that don't mess with camera views
Angular design that matches CT, gotta look good
Improved...
Now you have to buy the squeegee, get all the Amazon prime day sales, sort through the 12th round of wheel covers or other 3d printed thing for sale, and THEN you might find some Cybertruck Owners content .... May the Cybertruck gods favor you on this quest through what has become of the...
I'm not sure what's already been said, but here are my wishes for aftermarket products I would sink my money into:
Things OTHER THAN roof rails that make use of the hard mount points. Like ham antenna mounts, rotopax adapters, light bar mounts for standard sizes--these exist but no one will...
Whoa, this exploded way more than I expected from a simple question. Honestly, kudos to @Atomic Wheels for fixing an issue in a design process that should be iterative! If nothing else, I'm impressed. It's unfortunate that they're getting dunked on for making a mistake that they're openly and...
