Would you stop spreading this "AparthiedElon" narrative. Elon was a minor when he lived in South Africa and his father was publicly anti-Apartheid. He actually spoke out against the ruling party.

Elon haters misrepresent the facts when they try to paint him as racist and pro-Apartheid.

I don't think he is pro-apartheid. Afterall he only spent $54B to help the Nazis get free speech

And when pressed on Twitter refused to even acknowledge he enjoyed certain privileges in S Africa others didn't have.

Speech isn't free if it dependent upon what you want to say. As an American I'm in favor of freedom of speech. So is Elon. That doesn't mean he agrees with all speech, it simply means you have the right to say it.

He is being called that by his not so subtle racism inside Tesla where he impliedly discourages hiring of blacks and Latinos.

How about his endorsement of anti-semitic public service announcement in X that "Jews push hatred of white people"?

Again, Google, which by your ignorance of algorithm laughingly called biased, should point you to the confirmation that these racial groups are under-represented at Tesla.

BTW, you still owe us your own numbers disputing, with your mere say so, that Tesla has higher staff turn-over than industry peers, 44% vs 9%..

There is zero evidence Elon implicitly discourages the hiring of minorities. That said, he is not in favor of hiring someone simply because they have a certain skin color. He believes it should based solely on merit, that skin color shouldn't enter into it. At all. Why do you spread obvious lies?

Other companies boost their ESG scores by looking at skin color when they hire applicants. Elon's companies hire based solely on merit. Elon is into doing the right thing, not looking like he's doing the right thing. And that's related to the reason why the Cybertruck is such a breakthrough vehicle, why it's so competent at so many things, because Elon envisioned a new vehicle based, not on what people thought a truck should be like, but on capabilities, what a truck could actually do. Not how it looked.

I won't even attempt to respond to your rebuttal that appear to boast to posses deep insight into Elon's mindset and character -- or play act and channel him yourself.

I would claim you as one of my friend here.

But not close enough friend to be bold in my advice.

It is just that you seem to remind me of my childhood and life long (and still my) friend.

Yours is Elon, his is to a top political personality and to his conservative Evangelical Christian religion -- already a contradiction as his politician main man is the extreme opposite of Jesus' teaching.

I don't know your politics and I am not interested to know. This is not the site. This is for our common ownership of Cybertruck -- and for some Tesla stock investments.

And yes, like you, his world is divided on those he would accuse of hating his idol. Those criticisms, fact-based, verbatim quotes or videos are based or motivated by hate.

No nuances whatsoever that governance is good character, vision, innate intelligence, economic management, handling of crisis, compassion and patriotism.

He is reasonably well educated and a success professionally and before he fell into that rabbit hole, can be engaging in discussing economic policies, history and political systems and ideology.

Now, his wife and adult children are worried. And in get together, he is not (yet) disinvited but subtly, avoided. There is no neutral topic for him even after the innocuous, how are you?

Again, I am not saying this is you or you've reached this point. And even unfounded accusations you've made here for those who disagree or oppose your views, I will be forward enough to claim that we all wish you well.

Oh yeah before I forget, that #ApartheidElon was heard by my own son from other senior officer when he was working with Tesla and that profile of candidates for hiring are unwritten but implicit with rejection into the next level in the process (women too that time on engineering jobs).
