I find the TESLA Hate and FUD interesting. . .

1. When ever TSLA stock goes down significantly (-8% today), the stock analysts and YouTube pundits have an ominous tone which implies that TESLA is this close to going bankrupt. No mention of legacy auto manufactures which are all down.

2. Whenever a new electric vehicle is introduced from another company, the new EV is always referred to as: "Could this be the new TESLA Killer?!?" You never hear about a Chevrolet Equinox Killer or Toyota Camry Killer.

3. SpaceX Starship is the next iteration of manned vehicles for SpaceX. Currently, the SpaceX Dragon Capsule is taking humans into orbit . Starship test launch happened this morning and blows up 4 minutes after launch. Pundits be like. . . "Does this latest failure from SpaceX spell trouble for Elon Musk!?! Yet, the pundits/media ignore the fact that the last manned mission from NASA occurred on July 21, 2011.

TESLA, SpaceX, etc are creating cutting edge technology and jobs here in the US. People complain about our manufacturing and technology going to China yet hate on TESLA. Makes no sense.

Don't expect to come out ahead picking stocks.

Cathie Wood's Ark Investment, the biggest Musk investor fanclub, underperforms the SP500 index fund.

Please link to analysts comments about Tesla going bankrupt.

What sells more advertising on a media platform; good news or bad news?

What about bad news about what a news worthy celebrity does, or one of his companies?

The media wins when it makes money, they no longer have to invest in the truth to stay alive, just get enough clicks to pay the bills.

As Tesla is essentially the brash underdog, it's not really a big surprise the incumbent's weight leans against it, is it? And similarly, should be little surprise that media outlets sensationalize any colorable turn of fortune for the worse.

On the other hand, one can also and increasingly find plenty of, e.g.: pro-Tesla analysts, YouTube pundits (or members here) having more than a mere 'tone' that legacy are "this close" to bankrupt, attendant to "no mention of [Tesla being] ... down."

Plenty of FUD and Hate to go around, in all directions. Humans are kind of the worst.

None of which is to say it isn't fair or right, but instead that it's all a bit like being shocked that prisoners have fights.

Haters gonna hate. No better middle finger than persistant success.

All the sideline naysayers are depending on one thing - for their target sheep to never have done any research or background knowledge - and to have only consumed their talking heads.

The media are getting more delusional each week, thinking people are totally incapable of checking other sources.

Anyone with half a brain knows that Elon actually wants failure during an early test, and for early iterations all the success is in the collected data. Finding a failure point is actually more valuable, than to have lucky success stages that might continue to hide weaknesses or limitations.

The media actually goes beyond insulting people's intelligence with their crap now. They are trying to normalize numbness of the brain.

I think you would have to be insane to buy an EV from anyone other than Tesla at this point.
I love the Lucid tech and look forward to SUV, but I'm worried they have priced themselves out of the market, and the others are juts too far behind, and still thinking like an ICE company trying to convert their cars over to EV.

Lucid makes features that Tesla doesn't try to. They're supposed to be expensive. They aren't as far behind as say, a Leaf.

Each of the other brands has something they do differently than a Tesla. Most have some reason to select them, while a few do not. Even the venerable Leaf has its price and simplicity going for it: They are perfect low-maintenance around the town cars for moderate to cold climates.

And we need every EV we can on the road to reduce our carbon footprint, air pollution, and global dependency upon fossil fuels which even today are funding active war and terrorism.

End of the day , the right balance is crucial, and this is critical and very hard to achieve for any new product. It is like testing a Rocket.. prone to catastrophic failure in the early stages.

Offer a similar product at a much more compelling price, you are probably not going to pay your bills.

Or making a vastly superior product at a price to match, you may not have the turnover to pay your bills.

You will get the early customer hype if you have a competitive price, you get the customer hype if you add bells and whistles, but business isn't kind to either category.
