The last time this poll was done (which I think was December) 79.9% of respondents did not own a Tesla. That really surprised me as I figured that a major chunk of owners of the current models would lust after a CT.

Where is the option if you drive an EV that’s not listed?

I was eyeing some used Chevy bolts but decided to just hold out for the cybertruck.

We have a Model X and still have our 2012 LEAF. Picked up a Ryobi electric zero turn mower last week after our Toro pretty much died, so no more trips to the gas station for me now.

I really liked driving my parents’ Model 3 ?? Super responsive, great interior. Model Y is preferable to me cuz of more storage, but putting that $65k towards the tri-motor CT is where I am at! ?✨?✨⭐?

CT will be my first EV. My wife & I both drive Prius's. I always felt that A Tesla would be too expensive. That I'd end up with a Leaf or Bolt EV.

But know this: I didn't buy my Prius, nor did I order the CT, to save the environment. I'm a very conservative guy. And I think that the way to make EV's mainstream, is to figure out how to get folks like me to buy them. And that's not by talking about the environment. But make it a good value. I bought the Prius because I could get twice the MPG of my previous car. The economics made sense (& still do). I see the CT in the same way. For what I'll pay, both in price and low cost to operate, it makes sense to me. The fact that I REALLY want one, speaks volumes about how good EV sales are going to be.

Funny, I couldn't vote for a Tesla solar roof! Only $100 will reserve you one! My choices are now the Y, or CT or roof! Haha.

I understand where you are coming from. While i do very much care about the environment, that is really just one aspect of what makes Tesla a great car company and vehicle to own. If you look at a Tesla from and operating cost perspective they blow everything else out of the water. no contest. Which is why i was planning on getting a model 3 until the CT was announced. If you are someone who keeps your cars for long periods of time like me, you will be a happy camper.
