Visited a mall today for only 1 reason, to peruse the Tesla, Lucid, Polestar (future) storefronts.
Saw a white Polestar next to us in traffic near the mall. For some reason it reminds me of a Buick sedan, especially in the taillights.
Tesla store had no vehicles on floor. Talked to rep about powerwalls and solar panels. Found out Tesla will not install solar on metal roofs (except in Hawaii(?!), that was big sad for me.
Lucid had one Air on floor, behind a velvet rope. Even though I was asking questions, I was not invited to get any closer to the vehicle. I asked if they would pop the frunk, rep told me no since it was a pre-production model. Uhh, ok, that was weird. I should have asked if it even rolled downhill...............oops sorry, wrong company.
Polestar has a store under construction, almost across from Tesla. There was a Polestar on display in the food court level. Eh, I looked from afar.
Interesting little EV was ElectraMeccanica Solo 3 wheeler. Cute thing, 0-60 in 8 sec. Rep was nice, but couldn't answer about suspension. You do sit down into it, low to the ground.
