Giga Press signing ceremony
One of the loyal customers of LK, who has been using more than 200 units of LK machines, has ordered 3 sets of LK Giga Press die-casting machines, which are 6800-ton, 8000-ton, and 9000-ton. The signing ceremony was held during this event.

The Giga Press needs to be disassembled and packed together, which takes a couple weeks. The parts also need to be packed with special materials to preserve the Giga Press.
To ship a Giga Press oversees, Idra filled 12 open-top 40-foot containers and 12 self-supporting independent cases. The weight was between 3.5 and 70 tons for each of the packages. To ship overseas requires very special packaging by boat. To ship to Europe without a boat still requires large trucks and special care. The longest shipments are intercontinental and take between 16 days (New York) and 24 days (Houston) and 45 days (China).
The Giga Press is reassembled in about a month on-site. That is a massive machine!
I learned that the costs for the Giga Press are considerable. The costs of shipping are between 10 to 15 percent of the total cost of the Giga Press.

On April 21, LK Group has held a bunch of activities for the World Premiere of Dreampress 9000T in Ningbo, China. There are individuals, representatives from the government, association, and media professionals who attended to LK Ningbo factory open day and the summit forum.
The whole event is divided into three chapters:
1) LK Group Ningbo Factory Open Day; LK made its debut of the Dreampress DCC9000,
2) 2021 Ningbo Die Casting Industry Development Summit Forum,
3) LK Appreciation Dinner
On the morning of that day, the participated parties have visited the factory tour and witnessed the launch of Dreampress 9000T. Following is the signing ceremony between LK and Ruili Group Co., Ltd., they signed a contract on the agreement of 3 sets of ultra-large die-casting units (6800-ton, 8000-ton, and 9000-ton)
