High quality fridges are not cheap. I'm OK paying for things that are good quality and will work reliably. I've been on 2 week+ road trips and run them 24x7. Also remember to compare apples to apples are there are two *distinct* types of plug-in auto fridges.

The existing laminated (stays together) glass would be *way* different than the tempered (shatters into small pieces) glass already. I think they would break it the same/similar way. They were clear it is "bullet proof" for smaller calibers so it is not unbreakable.
