I hope that with electric vehicles taking more and more of the market share, we will also see a large increase in homes with solar panels. Installations for both new homes and existing homes.
There are countless new developments in my city for new homes, yet so far I have not seen a single...
The current unlimited data plans that I have found are really good while you are under the limit for max speed. Once you go past that limit and your speed is reduced, a lot of users are reduced to ~500kbps. That's not enough to stream and it can barely play a game online.
I'm holding out...
Yes and we'll all have to wait for that mobile version. not exactly sure how well it worked for the prius driver since starlink isn't supposed to work if you move your terminal.
At the same time, I'm really hoping that the 5g network expands a lot and that the upcoming might motivate...
While I've definitelty thought about this for the Cybertruck, I was thinking of attaching it on a roof rack for when i'm camping in the middle of no where with no signal, so people can still contact me if i'm needed.
Good article. I remember when that crash was in the news and I put my faith in the statements that Elon had made on twitter. I felt that when there is a story about something new and unknown like Tesla's FSD software, it can lead to confirmation bias.
If this was a cheap Toyota that crashed...
so you think it looks better on Tesla to go back to analog instrument panels, with knobs and tons of buttons, than it does to have a smaller display? Also the display isn't $3,000. Maybe the cost to replace the screen and MCU together might be that much. Whether or not there is a display...
I'm not really following here. Are you saying you think Tesla will have no display at all? A screen really isn't all that expensive. Tesla doesn't need to put the same computer in a cheaper car or a screen as big as it does in the other models.
sure using voice controlls and getting turn by...
If Tesla gets rid of the display...they need to add another display. Either that or they go back to analog instruments. The center display is cost saving in itself. It doesn't need to have arcade, easter eggs, youtube, netflix, or even maps. Now I'm assuming that with a Tesla, even a cheap...
I was talking with someone in another thread about the upcoming $25000 Tesla car and how Tesla might be able to reduce costs to make that. I don't think they would get rid of the screen because it can take away so many other parts which reduces costs and speeds up production.
I was thinking...
The 25k was mentioned as something that Tesla believes they can do because of everything they talked about at battery day. The reduced cost of batteries and extended range of these batteries is a huge step. For all we know this budget car could come with only 100 miles of range. I know that...
So I don't think Tesla is going to worry about marketing anytime soon.
The first reason is pretty obvious, they are doing fine without marketing. Word of mouth and just Tesla related articles, good or bad, has given Tesla a strong name for itself.
The second reason is because I don't...
I agree, i'm not going to say the step is a bad idea, it can definitely be helpful for older truck owners, or shorter truck owners who need to get into the bed, but I think the Cybertruck has them beat with just a simple ramp that took minimal engineering.
Like the fact that the Sierra can...
This was a hard article for me to read, mostly because it feels extremely misleading. So i'll give my two cents on it.
GM has had a steady increase in their stock since march 2020 where a lot of companies dipped at the beginning of the pandemic. Tesla's stock was overinflated last year...
I would agree that most software subscriptions are stupid. Like when it comes to computer software like microsoft office, I will never subscribe because i've been using the same version since university and i've never had issues with my files when i open them at home or at my office that has...
