Same here, my 2003 f150 Harley Davidson had a cargo divider which rotated out to become a bed extender. I think something like this could be incorporated into the L track. The Tesla version of the cargo divider is a bit wonky since it is hard to secure if your bed is not perfectly flat.
My main rack use case is an 18 ft long surf ski. Ideally I would have independent cross bars which would fit at the very top and very rear of the truck. It looks like your current design is either a over window two bar or over truck bed two bar choice?
